Technical Specifications

The S-Works Tarmac SL9 is built around an S-Works Tarmac SL9 FACT 12r Carbon frame featuring Rider First Engineered and Win Tunnel Engineered technology. The frame is equipped with Ceramic Speed SLT headset bearings, a threaded BB, a 12x142mm thru-axle, flat-mount disc compatibility, and a UDH dropout. Up front, the bike is paired with an S-Works FACT 12r Carbon fork with a 12x100mm thru-axle and flat-mount disc design.

Braking performance comes from SRAM RED E1 hydraulic disc brakes at both the front and rear, delivering exceptional stopping power and control.

The drivetrain features SRAM RED AXS E1 hydraulic disc shift levers, a SRAM RED AXS E1 braze-on front derailleur, and a SRAM RED AXS E1 12-speed rear derailleur. Power is transferred through a SRAM RED XG-1290 E1 12-speed 10-36t cassette and SRAM RED E1 chain, while the SRAM RED AXS E1 crankset with Quarq Power Meter is fitted with 50/37 chainrings. Completing the drivetrain is a Ceramic Speed BB Alpha BSA DUB bottom bracket.

The wheelset consists of Roval Rapide CLX III Tubeless carbon wheels. The front wheel features a 21mm internal width carbon rim with a 51mm depth, Win Tunnel Engineered design, a Roval LF18F 18H hub with Sinc Ceramic Bearings, and Roval by ARRIS Composite Aero Spokes with titanium end fittings. The rear wheel shares the same 21mm internal width carbon rim with a 48.5mm depth, a Roval LF19-R 24H hub with Sinc Ceramic Bearings, and Roval by ARRIS Composite Aero Spokes with titanium end fittings. Both wheels are fitted with Cotton TLR 700x30 tires and paired with 700x25–35mm TPU tubes featuring 65mm Presta valves.

The cockpit is equipped with a fully integrated Roval Rapide Cockpit bar and stem combination, finished with Supacaz Super Sticky Kush bar tape. Rider comfort is enhanced by the S-Works Power with Mirror saddle, supported by an S-Works Rapide Post FACT Carbon seatpost with 15mm offset and secured using the Tarmac integrated wedge seat binder.
