Product Overview

A summer blockbuster with an eye for adventure, the Rockhopper Comp thrives on high action and fast-paced trail riding. Built around a Premium A1 Aluminum frame, it’s designed to make its mark on singletrack terrain.

Equipped with a RockShox Judy fork, a Specialized alloy wheelset, Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, and a wide-range Shimano 1x10 drivetrain, this bike delivers reliable performance with every ride. Every component is carefully selected to ensure durability, control, and a smooth riding experience.

At its core is a lightweight yet strong Premium A1 Aluminum frame. The butted construction with hydroformed top and downtubes keeps weight low while maintaining strength. It also offers increased standover clearance, internal cable routing for a clean look, and compatibility with a dropper post for added versatility.

Each frame size is paired with the ideal wheel size to ensure optimal fit and performance for every rider. This thoughtful design approach guarantees balanced handling and comfort across all sizes.

The Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide powerful stopping ability with a refined and intuitive feel, offering performance that exceeds expectations for its class.

A durable Shimano 1x drivetrain keeps things simple while delivering a wide gear range. The clutch-equipped rear derailleur ensures a quieter ride and helps keep the chain secure over rough terrain.

The wheelset combines dependable Formula hubs with 25mm internal width, hookless Specialized alloy rims. This setup delivers a strong, lightweight, and durable foundation for confident riding.

Technical Specifications

Frameset
The frame is constructed from Specialized A1 premium butted alloy and features a zero-stack head tube, internal cable routing, forged dropouts, a chainstay-mounted disc brake, a replaceable derailleur hanger, stealth rack mounts, and dropper post compatibility. The seat binder is a 34.9mm alloy quick-release.

Suspension
The fork is a RockShox Judy with Solo Air and Turnkey damper, featuring a 46mm offset, quick-release system, and size-specific travel ranging from 80mm to 100mm.

Brakes
Both front and rear brakes are Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic discs. The front uses 180/160mm rotors depending on size, while the rear uses a 160mm rotor.

Drivetrain
Shifting is handled by Shimano Deore RapidFire Plus 10-speed levers, paired with a Shimano Deore RD-M5120 rear derailleur. The drivetrain includes a Sunrace 11–46t cassette, a KMC X10 chain with anti-corrosion coating, and a Stout 1x forged alloy crankset. The bottom bracket is square-tapered with internal bearings.

Wheels and Tires
The bike rolls on Specialized alloy rims that are hookless, tubeless-ready, and have a 25mm internal width. It uses Formula hubs front and rear with quick-release spacing. Stainless steel spokes complete the wheel build. Both front and rear tires are Fast Trak Sport in either 650b or 29 x 2.35”. Inner tubes are standard 40mm Presta valve.

Cockpit
The cockpit features a Stout 3D-forged alloy stem with a 6-degree rise, paired with Specialized alloy handlebars offering a 9-degree backsweep and 15mm rise. Specialized Trail lock-on grips provide control, while the Bridge Sport saddle with steel rails ensures comfort. The alloy seatpost uses a 2-bolt clamp.
